Though we know there is always a possibility of side effects for prescription medications, we expect drug manufacturers to be upfront about those risks on the packaging and patient information.
However, patients who suffered Yaz drug injuries are charging that the manufacturer of Yaz, Bayer, was not clear about the risks associated with the drug, according to CBS 11.
One woman suffered brain damage after she experienced a pulmonary embolism and now requires her family’s full-time care due to the Yaz drug injury.
This woman, along with thousands of others, are now suing Bayer, alleging the company did not warn them of risks for Yaz drug injuries such as heart attack, stroke, and blood clots.
What do you think about manufacturers failing to provide risk information to patients?
