Cancer could become the world’s number one killer, and it could be due to drug injuries, according to the Associated Press.
The World Health Organization reported that by 2010 cancer will overtake heart disease as the number one killer; drug injuries due to high smoking rates in developing countries could be the reason.
40 percent of smokers, who are at an increased risk for developing cancer as a result of drug injuries brought on by smoking, now live in developing areas such as China and India.
