One such construction accident that took place on the campus of the University of Texas in Dallas Saturday claimed the lives of two construction workers. According to CBS 11 News, the accident happened at the school’s new Arts and Technology building that is currently being built.

Reports indicate that the two men were atop a crane that was being dismantled when strong winds of up to 50 miles per hour came gusting across the campus and toppled the crane. The two workers, a 50-year-old father and grandfather from Grand Saline, Texas, as well as a 58-year-old man from Austin, died as a result of the fall.

Over the weekend, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration sent investigators to the scene to conduct a full examination of the events that led to the tragedy.
