According to the Associated Press, health facilities and New York have settled a suit over drug injuries that could have resulted from pharmaceuticals in water sheds.
Three nursing homes and two hospitals that disposed of pharmaceuticals through toilets, sinks, and into watersheds have reached an agreement with the state over the suit that argued the hazardous materials could have caused drug injuries to citizens.
Pharmaceuticals being flushed or disposed of in water sheds could cause Texas drug injuries to Texas consumers as well.
