Company issues voluntary recall to reduce risk of drug injury
July 14, 2011 When the Food and Drug Administration issues a recall, it’s to help prevent drug injury from occurring. In recent weeks the McNeil Consumer HealthCare announced a voluntary recall of extra strength Tylenol after consumers reported an odor coming from the bottle, according to CNN.
