Antidepressants are drugs that many people use to maintain their mood. While the effectiveness of antidepressants varies by patient, the FDA is stating that one antidepressant may be of little help to anyone and may cause drug injuries.

According to Reuters, Pfizer’s reboxetine may not be a helpful drug for anyone. It is in the drug class with other SSRI antidepressants, but officials say this drug may not be effective enough for any patients to use.

The drug has also been associated with drug injuries and side effects that were harmful enough for patients treating depression with the drug to stop treatment. Other drugs in the same class performed better and had less harmful drug injuries associated with them.
