We occasionally hear of consumers finding foreign particles in processed food. However, one Tennessee company is trying to prevent consumers from experiencing this with medication.

According to Reuters, Cumberland Pharmaceuticals Inc. has recalled Acetadote, a drug used to treat liver failure as a result of acetaminophen use, because the drug may contain glass particles from a previous supplier and could cause drug injuries.

Though no drug injuries have been reported, the company wants to prevent the risk of drug injuries by recalling the product.
