Amarillo reported that an auto accident occurred when a bus was stopped at the intersection of Bell Street and 34th Avenue Wednesday.
The auto accident occurred when a car rear-ended another vehicle at the red light, causing that vehicle to strike the bus.
No students were aboard the bus when the vehicle hit it. However, the driver of the vehicle that started the chain reaction at the intersection was taken to a hospital for treatment of a knee injury.
The school bus received minimal damage as a result of the car accident. However, people in Texas could suffer Texas auto accident injuries if they are rear-ended.
